Amazon Carbon S.A.S.'s corporate purpose is the development, structuring, and management of climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation projects, including: REDD+ projects under the ColCX standard; carbon consulting and environmental compliance services; development of MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) tools; bio-commerce of products derived from conserved territories. The company operates under international climate integrity standards (NBS, REDD+, ISO 14064) and applicable Colombian environmental regulations.
3. Environmental Regulatory Compliance
Amazon Carbon S.A.S. operates in compliance with the Colombian regulatory framework for carbon markets, including: Law 2173 of 2021 (Tree Law — National Reforestation Strategy); Resolution 1491 of 2025 from the Ministry of Environment — Environmental Compliance Framework; Standards of the ColCX (Colombia Carbon Exchange) program for certification and traceability of climate assets. The Peliwaisi and Kúvay projects are duly registered and undergoing verification by independent auditors.

The platform relies on third-party services for its operation: Privy Technologies (authentication and wallet management); Supabase (cloud database); Vercel (hosting infrastructure); Blockchain Networks (Base and Avalanche — for immutable transaction recording). Amazon Carbon S.A.S. is not responsible for interruptions, failures, or changes in the terms of service of said third-party providers.
