The carbon credits, removal units, and other climate assets available on this platform are environmental compensation instruments, not financial securities or investment products under securities law. They are not regulated by the Colombian Superintendencia Financiera or international equivalents such as the SEC (USA) or FCA (UK). Their acquisition does not guarantee any financial return.

The voluntary carbon market is subject to significant fluctuations depending on: (a) Changes in national and international climate policies; (b) Variations in the supply and demand for carbon credits; (c) Results of project verification audits; (d) Force majeure events in project territories (fires, illegal deforestation). Amazon Carbon S.A.S. does not guarantee that the value of acquired assets will be maintained or increase.

Transactions on blockchain networks are subject to specific technology risks: (a) Irreversibility: confirmed transactions cannot be reversed under any circumstances; (b) USDC Volatility: although USDC is designed to maintain dollar parity, there is a theoretical risk of depegging; (c) Network Risk: congestion, forks, or protocol upgrades may affect network availability; (d) Wallet Security: loss of a private key results in permanent loss of access to funds. Amazon Carbon S.A.S. cannot recover funds lost due to lost credentials.

The projects backing climate assets are exposed to: (a) Extreme weather events (fires, floods) that may affect the permanence of conserved forests; (b) Changes in Colombian or international environmental regulation; (c) Territorial conflicts in the areas of influence of the projects; (d) Changes in ColCX validation criteria. Amazon Carbon S.A.S. implements security buffers and ecological insurance to mitigate these risks, but cannot eliminate them completely.

Amazon Carbon S.A.S. has not made and does not make any promise, representation, or guarantee regarding the present or future economic performance of climate assets. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Acquisition of climate assets should be considered an act of environmental responsibility with market return potential, not a financial investment with guaranteed returns.
